Privacy notice

This notice explains how Reading Muslim (registered charity 1061208) handles the personal data you provide when registering a team for the Unity Cup.

What we collect

Your team name, contact name, email address, phone number, and the consent choices you make at registration. Payments are handled by Stripe. We never see or store your card details.

Why we use it

To administer your registration and run the event (performance of your registration and our legitimate interest in organising the tournament). We only send you marketing about future events if you opt in, and you can withdraw that consent at any time.

Who we share it with

We use trusted providers to deliver the service: Stripe (payments), Resend (confirmation emails), Supabase (secure database) and Vercel (hosting). They process data on our behalf and only as needed.

Analytics

To understand how the site is used and improve it, we use Vercel Analytics, Cloudflare Web Analytics and PostHog in a privacy-conscious way. Analytics is cookieless and we do not use it to track you across other sites. We turn off session recording and automatic capture of form fields, and we do not build advertising profiles. The PostHog project is shared with the main Reading Muslim website, with this microsite tagged separately. Page addresses are recorded without the payment reference that Stripe adds after checkout.

How long we keep it

We keep registration details for as long as needed to run the event and to meet our legal and accounting obligations, after which they are deleted.

Your rights

You can ask to access, correct or delete your data, object to its use, or withdraw consent. Contact us to do so. You also have the right to complain to the Information Commissioner's Office (ico.org.uk).
